Skills

Attach knowledge packs to an agent — compatible with the Anthropic Agent Skills open standard.

A skill is a knowledge pack for an agent — a SKILL.md plus optional supporting files that tell the agent "when you hit this kind of task, think and act like this." Wujie adopts the Anthropic Agent Skills open standard, so compliant skills from Anthropic's official repository, ClawHub, or skills.sh can be imported directly.

Where skills live

  • Workspace skills are stored in Wujie's cloud. Once attached to an agent, they're synced to your machine at task execution time. This is the standard way to share skills across a team.
  • Local skills live in directories on your machine (each AI tool has a conventional path, like Claude Code's ~/.claude/skills/, plus the cross-tool ~/.agents/skills/). The daemon scans them on request and you pick which to bring into the workspace. Local-first is a fit for testing or for sensitive material.

Some AI tools also discover repo-level skills committed inside a repository (.claude/skills/, .cursor/skills/, …). Those load through the tool's own discovery when a task checks out the repo — no need to import them into Wujie.

Importing a skill

Workspace skills come from four sources:

  • New — write the SKILL.md and related files directly in the UI
  • From GitHub — paste a repo URL and Wujie pulls the skill directory
  • From ClawHub — search the public marketplace, with version selection
  • From local — the daemon scans your machine; pick what to import

Attaching to an agent

A skill only takes effect once attached to a specific agent. One agent can carry many skills; one skill can serve many agents. After editing a skill's contents, only newly created tasks pick up the new version — tasks already running continue with the old one.

Review third-party skills before importing them. Skills may include scripts and instructions, and Wujie does not audit or sandbox their contents — they are handed to the AI coding tool as-is. Automated marketplace scans are not a substitute for your own review. Only import from sources you trust.

Skills vs. MCP

Both extend what an agent can do, in different directions:

  • Skill — a structured knowledge pack: the agent reads it to learn how to think about a class of problems.
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) — a tool channel: the agent connects to external services (databases, APIs, filesystems) and invokes them.

They're complementary. MCP support in Wujie is currently provider-specific — a dedicated section is coming in a later release.

Next

  • Create and configure an agent — where skills get attached
  • Chat — skills also apply in sandboxed conversations

Squads

A squad is a group of agents led by one leader agent — assign an issue to the squad and the leader picks the right member.

Automations

Schedule, webhook, or API-triggered runs by an agent or a squad — with or without a traceable issue.
